Clay Modelling

Ms. Maya is a passionate potter with a deep love for nature and a knack for creating enchanting clay artworks. She holds a prestigious certification as a Level 1 Trainer from the ART Clay Silver Academy Japan, showcasing her expertise in working with clay. Techniques include pinching, shaping, coil building, slap building, sculpting, texture & detail work & surface decorations

Ms. Anitha, a self-taught artist with a passion for nurturing creativity, leads this program to inspire and develop artistic skills. Her experience as a business owner designing hair accessories enhances her ability to guide children in exploring various artistic forms.

Football

EduSports is a comprehensive sports education program designed to encourage physical activity and foster holistic development in children through structured play and learning. It aims to build a strong foundation of fitness, teamwork, and skill-based sportsmanship.

The Football Programme at EduSports focuses on creating an enjoyable and supportive environment where children can develop a love for the game while mastering basic football skills.

Objectives:

  • Fun and Engagement: Cultivate a love for football through playful and enjoyable sessions.
  • Skill Development: Teach fundamental football techniques such as dribbling, passing, and
  • shooting.
  • Teamwork and Social Skills: Emphasize collaboration, communication, and shared
  • responsibility in a team setting.
  • Physical Activity: Promote fitness, coordination, and balance in a structured yet fun manner.

Techniques and Components:

  • Dribbling: Learning to control the ball using both feet while changing direction.
  • Passing: Mastering accurate passing using the inside of the foot.
  • Shooting: Teaching basic techniques for aiming at and kicking towards the goal.
  • Ball Control: Developing skills to control the ball using various parts of the body.
  • Games and Activities: Incorporating fun drills like “Sharks and Minnows” and “Clean Your Backyard” to practice football techniques engagingly.

Dancing Tales

Ms. Vidya Nagarajan is a passionate storyteller and art enthusiast who finds immense joy in spending time with children. She believes that art forms and stories are among the most enjoyable and effective ways for children to learn. Her approach integrates creativity with education, aiming to make learning an engaging and memorable experience for young minds.

Objectives of the Dance Programme

  • Storytelling through Dance: Utilize captivating stories to introduce and explore various dance forms, including Hip-Hop, Freestyle, and traditional Indian styles like Bharatnatyam and Bollywood.
  • Rhythm and Choreography: Teach children to understand rhythm and choreography while dancing to familiar songs related to the stories.
  • Formation and Teamwork: Develop children’s skills in dancing in formation and working as a team.
  • Creative Expression: Encourage creative expression through the use of fun props such as sticks, balloons, and shakers.

The programme will feature weekly dance sessions where children will:

  • Explore different dance styles through engaging stories.
  • Learn rhythm and choreography while dancing to familiar songs.
  • Practice dancing in formation and enhancing teamwork.
  • Use creative props to add fun and variety to their dance experience.

Cooking & Baking

Ms. Marina Ramya is the baker and owner of The Bread Therapy, a small-batch, handcrafted artisanal bakery. When store-bought options fell short with unnecessary ingredients, Marina decided to bake her own, leading to the creation of The Bread Therapy. Driven by a passion for bread, she sought a simple, clean recipe made from just flour, salt, water, and yeast or sugar. Her products are crafted with high-quality ingredients and contain no preservatives or additives. 

Objectives of the Cooking and Baking Programme

  • Food Awareness: Educate children about how food impacts their bodies and help them appreciate meals made from scratch.
  • Hands-on Experience: Provide children with the opportunity to feel, work with, and taste their creations, developing their fine motor skills.
  • Learning through Fun: Engagingly introduce simple math concepts through food preparation.
  • Kitchen Confidence: Foster confidence in the kitchen by familiarizing children with the cooking process.

Techniques to Be Introduced

The programme will be organized into breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner menus throughout the year. Children will also learn about seasonal and local foods and explore creative techniques to make fun and artistic food creations.
